“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”
Director | Occupational Therapist
My motivation to create Equa-libra comes from a passion of working with people to help them find their balance. This balance can be a physical balance, by working with individuals to ease soft tissue ailments, or to find optimal movement through Pilates practice, or calm through meditation. This balance can also be found through working with children and families, supporting them to be the best they can be, to have secure and happy relationships and feel content within their family units. Whatever is out of balance my goal is to support people to step closer to equal balance, so they can live the life they want to live.
I am a graduate in Occupational Therapy with post-graduate studies in soft tissue functional therapy and family therapy, plus advanced certification in contemporary Pilates and training in myofascial techniques. I have experience in working with children and families as a paediatric OT, with a special interest in family therapy and parenting support. I am an advocate for active ageing and have experience in supporting the older adult community in soft tissue therapy and Pilates.
